Stitch Maps, a new way of charting?

This wasn’t what I was intending for my first proper post, however as soon as I clicked on the advert, I thought ‘that’s genius!’

I was browsing the new edition of Knitty and an interesting advert caught my eye. It was like a knitting chart, but better. I clicked on the ad and it took me to Stitch Maps. Put simply, they take a chart, and they make it better. You can see exactly the pattern the chart will produce and how the rows connect to each other. It’s one of those ideas where you think ‘that’s amazing, why didn’t I think of that!’. So check it out. What do you think?
